What personal information do we collect from the people that uses our Hardware, Apps or Web Portal?
When ordering or registering for our hardware and software usages, as appropriate, you may be asked to provide your Full Name, e-mail address, Phone numbers, Home/Office/Hotel Address or other details to create your account and help you with your experience.
When do we collect information?
We may gather the information from the user when they register, make a purchase and daily usage of the hardware equipment through Mobile App, Voice Assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Siri.
Whyte’s concurrent servers keeps the real-time track of the equipment status in your home as well as store the historical data of the usage to provide analysis to you. The data gathering are solely for the purpose of internal analytics and reporting for the user about the equipment usage.
How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase and daily usage of the hardware equipment (through Mobile App, Voice Assistants like Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Siri) for the purpose of analytics, reporting, syncing the current status of the hardware on all the platforms and personalizing the experience for the client.
How do we protect your information?
Our systems are end to end encrypted and the servers whyte uses are private, any data gathered are stored in secure databases which can only be accessed by Whyte and the user the data pertains to. Our servers are scanned on a regular basis for security loopholes and unknown vulnerabilities in order to make your data as safe as possible.
We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons within the organization who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive usage information gathered is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL).
In addition information whyte uses for the analytics and other is accessed and processed in a consolidated manner, which means no specific user’s data are processed or accessed individually.
Do we use ‘cookies’?
Yes. California Online Privacy Protection Act
